Responsible for all General Ledger Activities, including but not limited to:
- Detailed Invoicing using web-based time and description application software.
- Accounts Payable recording, allocations, and payments.
- Bank Reconciliations and Electronic Fund Transfers.
- Month end adjusting entries.
- Preparation of Payroll semi-monthly using ADP Software or similar payroll product.
- Government Reporting, re: Payroll, Dividends, Corporate, HST, EHT Taxes. Statistics Canada Surveys and reports.
- Timely preparation of monthly Financial Statements.
- Excel reports for Cash Flows, Sales, Budgets, Forecasts, and other reporting requirements.
- Liaison with External Accountants.

- Familiar and knowledgeable with Accounting Software systems such as QuickBooks, Accounting Edge Pro, Sage.

- Experience with responsive design and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET both MVC, WebForms and API based development
- Scrum methodology awareness and previous work in an agile environment
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable
We are looking for someone with:
- Outstanding communication skills (oral & written), with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of management
- Demonstrated project or engagement management ability to plan and execute projects/engagements to a successful conclusion
- Proven track record with the types of business development activities and an established network of relevant contacts
- Ability to solve problems efficiently, think creatively and deliver quality user focused software solutions in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in the central GTA (401/DVP area) with onsite/remote flexibility
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship
